The Lady Rebels had to hold back the charge of the Seattle Express, who advanced to the finals and won the first game 11-9. The Lady Rebels, behind the pitching of Mary Hoff prevailed in the deciding game 15-7.

The Women’s USSSA World Series stopped awarding HR and Batting Leaders. They just gave out an Offensive MVP, along with the Defensive MVP, and Tournament MVP.
