1992 ASA Men’s Major Fast Pitch Nationals

1992 held at Bloomington, Illinois on August 15-22.


Champion – National Health Care Discount, Sioux City, Iowa (94-7)
Runner Up – Miller Toyota, Salt Lake City, Utah (52-25)


National Health Care Discount, behind the pitching of Michael White eliminated Guanella Brothers (7-2), Terry Bell was the losing pitcher for Guanella. NHCD then won the first final 1-0 on Mark Sorenson’s walk off HR in bottom of the 7th inning. Jimmy Wana and Peter Meredith were locked in a pitchers dual. Meredith pitched the whole game for Miller and took the loss. Seaman was relieved by Michael White in the 5th inning and White was credited with the win. This inspired a 10-2 romp in the Championship Game over Larry Miller Toyota. Doug Middleton pitched the clincher for NHCD, collecting 11 strikouts along the way, defeating Peter Meredith of Miller Toyota. Tod Stevenson, Trent Rubley and Randy Burnside each had 2 hits apiece for NHCD in the Final Game. David Boys and Stevenson also hit HR in that game back the pitching of Middleton.
